Salmon with vegetables "en papillote"
Here is one really easy but still delicious way to prepare salmon, my favourite fish. Salmon contains protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and vitamin D but is an oily fish so you should consume it with moderation. Serve the dish with some baguette slices or with a little bit of rice if you prefer.

Cod with green pea sauce
This is a very typical recipe originally from the Basque Country that combines the soft flavours of the cod with the one of green peas. A light dish with a lot of vitamines, perfect for lunch or dinner.

Mediterranean seabass
A very tipical dish from the Mediterranean cuisine but we could recommend it whichever diet you were following due to the numerous nutritional benefits it provides. The Mediterranean seabass has a high content of phosphorus that gives us more physical resistance, and makes our skin and teeth healthier.

Gilt-head bream baked in salt
Our love for the things baked in salt comes from the family. We often prepare a gilt-head bream this way because it takes almost no work to cook (although it does take some time to separate the fish from the fishbones) and is ready in half an hour. This sauce we used to season the fish makes it a delicious dish, we recommend you to serve it with some brown rice.

Empedrat
This is a very typical salad from Catalonia. It is very refreshing and nutritive due to all the raw vegetables. For dehydrating the salted cod ask for advice at the store.

Black rice
We call this dish "Jack Sparrow's dinner" (I guess if you see the photo there is really no need for further explanation). It is one of those Mediterranean dishes that you have to stare for a while before being able to try it, but if you like the Paella and the Fideuà you will love this recipe. Prepare for your kids and serve it as Jack Sparrow's fav or on a fancy dinner with your friends. Success assured.
